When the King and Queen of Evergreen’s baby daughter, Rapunzel, is stolen by the wicked witch Gothel and her sidekick,Waylon the Weasel, they send out a search party to find her.

Unfortunately, it takes them eighteen years!

Rapunzel is finally discovered by her faithful nanny, Hilda, and cocky adventurer Rudi O’Malley, sporting impossibly long hairand imprisoned in a tower with no door. Despite having missed out on a normal childhood, Rapunzel has grown into a typicalteenager – feisty, stroppy and dreaming of love!

With the help of Hilda’s super-scout son, Max, a daring escape is planned. But before long our heroes are caught up with a band of unlikely pirates, a shipwreck, the peculiar Kingdom (or is it a Queendom?) of England-on-the-Wold – and another encounter with Gothel and Waylon.

Will Rapunzel finally be reunited with her family? Will she find true love? And will anyone manage to keep Hilda under control?

There’s only one way to find out!
